Students are taken through a sequence of basic downhill skiing skills, which will enable them to explore and learn about Falls Creek Ski Resort and the Alpine National Park. Students also spend one afternoon having a lesson with a ski instructor from Falls Creek Snowsports School.

The walking over snow using specifically designed shoes, enabling students to experience the winter alpine environment through a sensory and exploratory nature.

Cross Country Skiing

Students are taken through a sequence of basic cross country skiing skills which will enable them to explore different aspects and areas of the alpine environment. The VCE extension to this activity is a two day ski tour with one night camping in the snow.
