Orienteering
Bogong has developed a simple method of introducing students to Orienteering (navigation using a map and compass). Student’s progress from a simple course around the school area to a more complex and challenging set of courses throughout Bogong Village and its surrounds.

Rogaining
Rogaining is an extension to orienteering. Students generally team up in groups of 4-5 for this day to challenge and test themselves within a defined area on the Bogong High Plains. A great activity for allowing students to take on leadership roles, show initiative and responsibility in an alpine setting.
