Welcome to the Bogong Outdoor Education Centre Alumni Website. (Formerly Bogong School Camp). This is an exciting section of our website where you are able to take the opportunity to connect with old friends and ponder over your time spent at Bogong Outdoor Education Centre and to cherish your fond memories.

If you have been a student, visiting teacher or staff member of Bogong Outdoor Education Centre we would love to hear from you. We are currently working on a data base so if you have lost contact with an old buddy and would like to know what they are up to we may have the information you require.

There are no costs involved. By supplying your name, email address, school you attended Bogong with, you will be added to our data base. You will then receive regular e-newsletters (from early 2008) with special accommodation offers, plus access to our bulletin board and other Friends of Bogong only pages to check out photos from camps over the years.

It is our pleasure to bring you back to the place that has shaped many live, and continues to educate children in sustainable living and offers fun and exciting activities in a beautiful Alpine setting.

Our Aim

Our aim is to reacquaint you with old friends from the place that possibly touched yours and many other lives significantly.

Bogong Outdoor Education Centre has been offering opportunities to Secondary School Students from across Victoria since 1971. We believe that the experience you have while here at Bogong will "last a lifetime".

We offer 'Alpine experiences for sustainable futures with our vision being to 'empower students to develop beliefs, values, attitudes and behaviours for sustainable living'. Students gain knowledge and skills that can be taken to their home community to make people more aware of sustainable living. Bogong Outdoor Education Centre offers programs ranging from 1 - 21 day. Students leave after their time here with a sense of satisfaction and achievement. Programs at Bogong are generally shared between 2 schools at any one time so Children have the opportunity to meet new friends, often these friendships last a lifetime. Students challenge themselves at such activities as Rock Climbing, Abseiling, High Ropes Course, Canoeing, Bike Riding, Overnight bushwalks on the Bogong High Plains, Snow Skiing plus much, much more.
